We are a support and networking group for business women based in the Medway area, part of a Kent-wide network of Women in Business Support Groups.
We meet once a month, on the first Wednesday of each month in the evenings at the Ship & Trades, St Mary’s Island, Chatham, Kent.
It costs just £45 to join plus £7.00 per meeting. If you’d like to give us a try, you can visit us once for £7.00.
As a member you can visit any Women in Business meeting at member rates. Check out the West Kent and East Kent branches via our blogroll.
How it works:
7:00: – start with informal chatting to fellow members
7:15: – 15 minute “My Business” slot from one of our members so we can find out who they are and what they do.
7:30 (ish): – formal talk with a guest speaker (often one of our very talented members)
8:30: – queries, advice-seeking or general topics of interest.
9:00: close.
We are always open to suggestions.

Free publicity!!
Just to confirm my announcement at the meeting this week.
All members are welcome to take advantage of a free press release to promote WIB and your own company.
Possible themes:
news or your comments on a topical subject relating to your business
how you have teamed up with a WIB member to win business
a joint success story, with the permission of your client (this also gives your client free publicity, which is a bonus for them, which gives them a ‘feel good’ factor towards you.
